WHAT'S SUNDAY LIKE?
Join us on Sunday at 10am

Sundays are a time to gather together with people that live, work, and play all over the Salt Lake Valley and celebrate the good news about Jesus. It's a time to remember the truths that have changed our lives. We firmly believe that our building is a great resource but it is the people of God that make up the church.

Through the teaching, music, storytelling, and celebrating, we aim to keep the focus on Jesus. We strive for life-changing gatherings. Our music and preaching is never for the sake of a show, but for pointing everyone to the greatness and love of God. We want to clearly and consistently communicate the good news of Jesus to all who gather with us.

WE PREACH THE BIBLE.
Most of the year, Church of the Valley preaches through books of the bible, with attention to balancing time in the Old and New Testaments. Any Sunday you visit will have solid biblical teaching that is gospel-centered and accessible. We offer age-appropriate curriculum for children at Church of the Valley because they are disciples too. We have great teachers and classrooms meant to disciple your kids, not just babysit them.

WE SING GOD'S WORD.
Multiple music teams lead the congregation in songs that are theologically tested, and work towards a balanced worship diet. We believe songs that encourage us, songs that call us to leave sin behind, and songs that say what is true about God are all important in the gathering.

WE PRAY.
Prayer empowers everything that matters. Our leaders and our prayer team prays each week as we prepare for each Sunday, we take time to pray in our gatherings every Sunday, and we offer prayer for anyone who wants it after each gathering as well.

WE GET CONNECTED.
Sundays are essential for the discipleship of the believer, but not sufficient. Sunday is a great space to get connected to our community, through our Community Groups.

WE CELEBRATE.
Other elements you might see on a Sunday include celebrating baptisms, stories of God's work in the lives of our people, and celebrating new leaders and parents! There is a lot to celebrate!
